Family Time...

The boys and I have been off in west Texas for the past week, soaking up every bit of family time we can get before the Fall brings 'too busy for anything'.

The boys love their sweet little cousins and I love that no matter how many miles seem to separate us, they seem to grow closer and closer every time we get together.

There is just something about growing up with cousins... not siblings, more like best friends, but still family so you know they will always be there. Some of my favorite childhood memories contain my cousins and seeing the boys make memories with their own brings back nostalgia full of care-free days and little bits of mischief.

I have been blessed with family all around me that is full of fun and good people... this is a blessing that makes my life so much fuller!

We went swimming...

We went to the park, where to boys had the best time feeding the little ground squirrels goldfish. Those tiny little critters took food right out of their hands!!

The kids did some painting...

They played with some kind of magic sand in the play kitchen- because the pretend food is just too boring- which ended up all over the floor and rug... my mom is so much nicer than me!!!

The kids got to visit with their great grandparents! Papaw brought them bags full of quarters and they had the best time counting them- except Kase- he had his own fun flinging them across the rug...

We took the circus out to eat for breakfast...

The boys introduced their little cousins to Sharknado...

Of course, we played on Snapchat...

Ipad time before bed is always the best way to get these four kiddos in bed and quiet...

And when they are all four away in dreamland, we can't decide if we want to go to bed too or turn up the music and jump for joy...

...we usually end up staying up way too late working puzzles. We did two, but this was the hardest ...

And here we are telling Anne and Mallorie good-bye before we take flight to Dallas...

Time goes by so fast when y'all come to visit. It was a week filled with fast & furious fun. I love getting to spend time with you and the boys and just like you watching them takes me back in time to when you four ran the halls of Grannie & Pa's house! Thanks so much for sharing all these wonderful pictures. Love & hugs to The Davenport's!
P,S....tell Micah we appreciate him sharing his tribe for a week🤗
